Star rangoli

An eight-point star made from two squares, with a green flower in a white circle in the middle and blue corners with white flowers. Easy to draw with a ruler.
Colours you need
- white
- red
- yellow
- blue
- green
- purple
Steps
- Draw one square, then a second square turned halfway round on top of it to make an eight-point star.
- Draw a circle in the middle with a small flower inside, and a small flower in each corner.
- Trace every line with white rangoli powder.
- Fill the star points red and yellow, one after the other.
- Fill the corners blue with white flowers, and the centre flower green with a purple dot.
With little ones: an adult draws the outline, children fill the big shapes with their fingers. Light the diyas only at the end and keep them out of reach.
