Simple peacock rangoli

A simple peacock with its tail spread in a big fan of nine feathers, each with a bright eye: a favourite Diwali rangoli.
Colours you need
- white
- royal blue
- green
- yellow
- turquoise
- orange
Steps
- Draw the peacock’s body and small round head with chalk, with a small crest on top.
- Draw nine big feathers in a fan behind it, each with a round eye.
- Trace every line with white rangoli powder.
- Fill the body royal blue and the feathers green.
- Fill each feather eye with blue, turquoise and yellow, then add orange and yellow petals under the peacock.
With little ones: an adult draws the outline, children fill the big shapes with their fingers. Light the diyas only at the end and keep them out of reach.
